Branford Marsalis Newark Concert reviews
Lost Trailers, Lady A and yes Tim McGraw
"I thought Branford Marsalis had a little too much crowd interaction and came out a little arrogant in the beginning. As he went on, he got a lot better. This is my 5th Branford Marsalis concert and I have seen better. I did appreciate him thanking the MI crowd for coming out in hard economic times. That showed a personal, sensitive side. I liked the Warren Brothers and Branford Marsalis. He does so awesome when he sits on a stool and just sings with him and a guitar. His band members do have rockin talent. All in all, it was worth the $ spent. Lost Trailers got it finished and started with Holler Back which rocked. Their whole show was amazing. I would pay big money just to see them again. Their voices harmonize so well together and they got the crowd into it. Hands down, the best part of the show. Lady A what more can you say!! They are amazing. I do want to thank Branford Marsalis for making GR a priority on his tour. Unlike Kenny Chesney who just blew us off even though for the past 4 years we have sold out back to back concerts. Yes you heard me right 2 concerts. The least Kenny could have done was do 1 show!! Thanks Branford Marsalis for a night of laughs and entertainment. Lady A please come back, you stole the show!! Lost Trailers I am still hollerin back in the woods!!"
